The winners of the fourth Nation’s Curry Awards 2026 have been announced, celebrating some of the most outstanding restaurants, chefs and takeaway businesses across the UK’s vibrant curry industry. The ceremony took place on 9 February 2026 at the Cedar Court Huddersfield Hotel, bringing together industry professionals and guests to recognise excellence in one of the country’s most loved culinary sectors.
Organised by Oceanic Awards, the event highlights the dedication and creativity of businesses that continue to shape the UK’s diverse curry scene. From independent takeaways to fine dining restaurants, the awards recognise those who consistently deliver high-quality food, service and innovation within the industry.
Among the evening’s headline winners, Aarti in Leeds was named Curry Restaurant of the Year – North and went on to secure the overall Curry Restaurant of the Year title. In the Midlands category, Gandhi Indian Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent took the regional award, while The Coriander Club in Reading won for the South. Wales was represented by Bangor Tandoori Restaurant in Bangor, and Firangi in Cambuslang was recognised as Curry Restaurant of the Year in Scotland.
In other major categories, Kolshi Premier Indian Restaurant in Warwick claimed the Indian Restaurant of the Year title overall, while Kingsthorpe Spice in Northampton was awarded Takeaway of the Year across the UK. A wide range of additional awards highlighted standout restaurants across regional and specialist categories, including recognition for street food venues, vegetarian restaurants and family-friendly establishments.
Speaking after the ceremony, Yasmin Mahmood, CEO of Oceanic Awards, said the organisation was proud to celebrate the talent, creativity and dedication found throughout the UK’s curry industry. She emphasised that the awards not only recognise exceptional businesses but also highlight the cultural significance of curry cuisine across the country.
